SOC 2 report validates Commutifi’s commitment to protecting its customers’ sensitive information
Boulder, Co. January 5, 2023 — Commutifi, the leading provider of centralized software for commuting at scale, announced that it has received its SOC 2 Type I report on controls relevant to security. This report shows Commutifi’s ongoing commitment to providing a secure data environment for its customers.
“Data is a crucial asset for our customers as they design impactful commuting programs—which means data security and privacy are just as critical,” says Esteban Sanchez, Commutifi’s co-founder and CTO. “SOC 2 compliance means our customers can use our software to analyze sensitive data with confidence.”
SOC 2 has a rigorous requirement on how companies handle customer data and information, so compliance guarantees that there are established and implemented organizational practices in place to safeguard customer data.
The audit was completed with the help of Johanson Group LLP and Secureframe, a platform that enables organizations to obtain and maintain global compliance standards and streamline the audit process. Secureframe drives Commutifi’s continuous compliance strategy including the ability to continuously track, monitor, and remediate any compliance needs.
“Instituting the highest-possible levels of security is a non-negotiable in 2024,” says Issam Hakimi, Commutifi’s director of engineering. “SOC 2 compliance proves safety and privacy are and will continue to be central to the way we build our platform.”
